Nowadays citizens don’t have a real chance to participate in the local decision-making processes. The online and offline methods of community planning are able to resolve some of the general problems of democracy. The online tools give a new directiontof support to the citizens. However, a community-based tool doesn’t work without a democratic-minded community. The aim of the project was to increase citizen participation in the process of community planning - the association built a well-connected communication platform for citizens and elected representatives. In partnership with the Citizens Foundation the organizers are using the platform 'Your Priorities' in parallel with the offline methods of community planning to this end. The organizers are going to integrate the methods of e-democracy in the general process of community development. This method creates a connection between the citizen’s ideas and the local government.
