Countrywide as well as in Ózd, there are incidental, short term ongoing projects, which habe been unable to put an end to the reproductive circles of poverty. The educational network of VH Studio is already working and by expanding its services, the organizers build a system which offers overall, structural solutions to the underprivileged, mostly Roma, children, their families and their segregated communities, to be able to break out of the vicious circle of reproductive poverty. 68% of the children at the elementary schools of Ózd study in a segregated environment. At the VH Studio 33 pupils and their families (158 people) recieve an intensive service in order to improve their competence results to reach the national average, and to have a chance to get into a quality secondary school. During the project this number grew to 77 (316). Together with the mentors, pedagogues, artists and volunteers, the organizers provided an overall, professional educational-social case-management and network.
