The project aimed at adapting and disseminating the methodology of Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) in Hungary as an alternative to the information shortcomings of mainstream labelling schemes that can even hinder the spread of responsible and sustainable consumption. Part of the project a PGS toolkit was developed both for national and local level, 1 presentation was provided for a wider audience with the involvement of international experts, 5 in-class trainings and 1 webinar were organized for CSOs and citizen groups. Beside, several articles, 1 interview video, 3 short animated videos on different topical aspects (PGS for markets, shops and supermarkets, webshops) as well as a methodological guideline were prepared and published. The project promoter has started to work with 5 local or national civic initiatives on PGS projects and executed 2 additional PGS project on its own. As an ultimate result the promoter has managed to make the concept of PGS familiar to some 40 national/local organizations and to faciliate the adaption of it to the practice of several local initiatives.
