The project’s goal was to develop communities and civic organizations in Inárcs, Celldömölk, Tiszalúc and Újbuda, through groups of elderly people. The long-term aim is to help develop stronger and more efficient civic group representation. The direct target group was 40-60 and elderly (60+) citizens, and 1 civic organizations in Inárcs, Celldömölk, Tiszalúc and Újbuda each. The indirect target group was their acquaintances, friends, relatives – app. 600 people, plus app. 45.000 elderly citizens in these localities. In the project one methodology course for the civic partners was organized, then as a practical side of the course, community theatre shows with 3+1 groups were be created. During the 11 months the civic partners consulted the organizers regularly. 1 joint community event and 1 publication were created as well. The 3 partners thus became able to create community organizing programs on their own.
