The project's aim was to introduce and disseminate LGBT mediation in Hungary in cooperation with LGBT NGOs and mediation associations, through this form public awareness, strengthen the civic network, improve the social well-being of the LGBT minority. Theirarget groups were LGBT NGOsn and through them the people concerned and interested; mediation associations, lawyers, judges, and psychologists. They developed a training plan involving LGBT NGOs and mediation associations; trained mediators for the particularities of LGBT mediation; organized a professional conference; informed and involved members of the LGBT minority (through workshops, publications, Pink Radio, Civil Radio); published an essay summing up case studies and good practices, and made mediators, lawyers, judges, psychologists acquainted with it. Further goals are to enhance awareness and the network's stability, legal and social equality, to improve the living conditions of the concerned minority, and to strengthen civic and public cooperation.
