The goal of the project was to strengthen the foundation with organizational development processes where volunteers and local people participated, to explore the former traditional water mills near Pápateszér in the Pápai Bakonyalja region and in Sály situated in Borsod county. Activities included creating watermill documentations in Sály – a publication, organizing Mill game quizzes, creating a watermill route in Sály and improving the route in Pápateszér. Target groups were mill owners, indirectly the inhabitants of the Pápai Bakonyalja region and municipality of Sály. Partners were municipialities of Pápateszér, Bakonyszentiván, Bakonyszentlászló and Fenyőfő villages, as well as the Roma Minority Municipality in Pápateszér. As a result of the project, a group of disadvantaged people got a more distinguished environment (descendants of water millers). The Hungarian water mill network became expanded with the newly discovered water mills in the target regions. The foundation will be strengthened, the number of volunteers increased from 20 to 30.
