There are no forums for problems of single mothers in North-eastern Hungary. Living on one income, making decisions alone, standing up and surviving from an abusive relationship, saving the children from the negative sides of the situation - between the patriarchal relations of the Hungarian society, indeed are difficult tasks in the absence of a supporting medium. It is urgently needed to collect, describe and make visible the living situation and crisis of single moms. As a result of this research, advocacy can be launched to boost social sensitivity and actions. The project aimed at giving a voice to single mothers in crisis, transmitting the needs and problems of local mothers living without a partner to the local government and community. The organizers also strengthen solidarity and social awareness by implementing campaigns and events. They also support single mothers through self-help groups. During the project a methodology was developed and the association became able to pass on the model and recommendations.
