The aim of the project was to make active citizenship popular in the activities of cultural advocacy in Hungary in an empirical manner - organizing social forums. The project also aimed at introducing international good practices. Through its activities, the project makes the non-conventional tools of cultural advocacy clear and legitimate , broadens the social basis of participatory democracy, shapes the attitudes of cultural workers in terms of human rights within the field of culture, makes the civil ethos stronger in the works of cultural NGOs. The activities of the project were 4 social forums in the countryside and in Budapest, production of recruiting videos, short summaries for the public in the form of blogs, edited video about the results of the workshop that would disseminate the content and used in the social forums. The target group of the project was the organizer’s original 133 people group active between 2013-2014 and realized 13 social forums earlier and three public protest/interventions, as well as allies from the field of art and their representatives (cultural NGOs).
