The project’s goal was to support women in a sensitive target group, to increase their self-esteem, competences and advocacy. It also activates professional cooperation. By the end of the project, recommendations and protocols were to be developed to support women of this vulnerable social group. Main activities were trainings for women and experts, support, mental health care, mentoring, advocacy groups in penal institutions, legal consultation, joint actions, extensive communication. Through all this, targeted women will be able to resume their life and convert their marginality; increase the power of their community while decreasing the sense of helplessness and vulnerability; actively participate in social actions and in the field.
