The aim of the project is the adaption and implementation of an intercultural education methodology to the domestic situation which has already been applied abroad.
The project has two target groups. One of them are students from secondary schools from Budapest (10 pcs), from the near of Budapest (4 pcs) and from the towns in the country (27 pcs), a total of 60 secondary schools. The other target group is the employees and volunteers of the applicant organization. There is one more indirect target group which is the teachers of the secondary schools.
The main activities of the project are: Project preparation, Preparation camp, Adaptation and development of the methodology , Creation of information material, Preparation day, 2 pieces of (autumn-spring) rural tours, Budapest-tour and Tour around Budapest, Evaluation of experience, Marketing and communication, Project closing, Project closing event , Project management.
The applicant organization will co-operate with the Norwegian YFU organization in the frame of the project. The Partner will not receive subsidy, they will help the Hungarian applicant with their experiences.
The number of the volunteers of the applicant organisation will increase by 30 person as the result of the project. Approximately 2200-2500 students will take part at the programmes. The applicant organization will use the prepared methodology in the future, too. They will make it available for the students participating in the program.
