15.1 From the start of the 2013/2014 school year launching dog therapy sessions for disadvantaged pupils and pupils with special educational needs in the educational institutions of the city of Ózd.
Holding irregular (with therapy dog) form master’s lessons presenting the everyday difficulties of the disabled people.(sensory, loco-motor and mental disabilities) through so called "sensitizing" sessions.
Development of responsible pet ownership.The promotion of dogs assistance.
15.2 In the special education institution of Ózd there are 132 mentally disabled children. In the (Local Area Pedagogy Service) Kistérségi Pedagógiai Szakszolgálat there are 2 autistic children. In the Bolyky Tamás Primary school there are 7 children with special needs and behavioral difficulties. In the Sajóvárkonyi ÁMK (Cultural Centre) there are 7 disadvantaged children.
15.3 Holding dog therapy sessions and organizing irregular form master’s lessons,preparing the final project workshop.
15.4 We can prepare a long term cooperation with the institutions which are involved in the project, we can organize them dog therapy sessions. The other public institutions,schools can learn the results and they can adapt the method.
