Káva's project reflected on remembrance – or more exactly, the absence of remembrance - of the series of murders against Roma people in 2008/2009, and making the coexistence of Roma and non-Roma a topic for high school students. The aim of the project was to create open forums, where this topic was discussable through a safe, fictional frame. Above the five complex performances, the target groups – students (3 classes) and adults (their parents, teachers, friends) became members in creating and performing a street performance.
In the project, the following questions have been discussed: is there a need to remember somebody who became a victim of murder just by his ethnicity, and do we have any responsibility in somebody’s death that we never even met? The project's aim was to decrease negative attitudes, and to strengthen awareness of the society's responsibility of action.
At the end of the project, a short film was made connected to the performance, made with aesthetic and pedagogic terms.
