The project addressed unsustainable lifestyle patterns and the broadening gap between elder and younger generations by the means of the development and introduction of a unique and pioneering intergenerational educational programme. The project included the development of a methodological toolkit and the provision of one elderly-youth summer camp as well as 12 elderly-youth learning workshop bridging caring homes and primary schools, involving nearly 200 elderly persons and more than 200 pupils. In order to support the dissemination, the educational programme has been officially accredited, was disseminated through 3 trainings nearly for 100 teachers and social workers, and was presented at 7 educational forums at various locations nationwide for about 30 CSOs and more than 50 local actors. Dissemination was also supported by short films, a media and a crowd-sourcing campaign as a result of which several hundred thousand people could have been informed about the initiative.
