The project drew the attention of the society to domestic violence with flashmob actions and a viral video. The project promoter made a microsite where all of the important data on the project and essays, treatises about the issue were accumulated. It was a real challenge to clarify the definition and the effects of domestic violence as the project promoter addressed victims, witnesses and perpetrators too. The video drew the attention to verbal violence, because it is just the first step in the progress of violence or rape. The project promoter emphasized the importance of the immediate witnesses’ role, encouraged them being active and stand up against the rape instead of doing nothing and label these cases as ’privacy’ issues. The video, microsite and flashmobs together propagated these views. The flashmobs tried to change the
spectators to witnesses and they had to decide: do they support the proposal which starts violently or not? Do they clap their hands, celebrate with the fiancé meanwhile the bride is frightened? Besides these intentions, teh organizers pursued to clarify the nature of the domestic violence and place an appeal against it on websites and social media groups that had been followed by many male web users. One of the main goals was to familiarize people with NGO-s which can provide them with advice, judiciary, mental and practical help. The microsite contains the contact data of the main organizations which can support victims.
